4th of July 2010

Our 4th of July celebration was consumed with food, family, and fun!! My parents came in on Sunday for some barbeque. My Cowboy grilled ribs, pork chops, and sausage. I also convinced him to grill the corn, YUM-O. I made sauteed green beans and potato salad.



It takes a team to make our sign, ha!! I asked hubby to make a flag for our sign. He had the perfect number of stripes without even realizing. Or that's just me analyzing it : )

I was sporting my apron while I was cooking. I knew a white shirt and me cooking was not a good mix but I did good.

Remington loved all the excitement and enjoyed laying on the cold tile after going in and out of the house helping daddy grill.

He loved the company of Mimi and Pa too.

Thank you for the sweet comments on my 4th of July wreath. It was super easy. I bought an embroidery hoop from Hob Lob (around $4.99 but they do have different sizes). I tied patriotic ribbon and strips of quilting material. I even cut up a pair of old blue jeans.

I was so stoked to see that HobLob has alot of their fall things out. I can't wait to make a wreath for the fall but that only means that school will be starting soon, ugh. Now we are on the downhill slope for school starting.
