Our babies

We had a wonderful weekend of relaxing at home. It's been awhile since we have been able to sit back and enjoy all of our blessings.

On Saturday we decided to work in the yard and when I looked up...I saw this.

Our precious babies hanging out together. So sweet.

When these two saw that mama had the camera it was only right to smile.

Remington is Kendalyn's protector and best buddy. We can't wait to see them grow together.

Our first baby

Our pup is now 2 years and 8 months old. He has made a great adjustment to having the new baby around. He is so smart and amazes us all the time.

Our girl is 32 weeks old. She is a spit-fire and we love all the things she is doing now.

Daddy and his boy. Always together

Love her smiles

Can't get enough of her

Love my girl

This coming weekend is going to be full of excitement....Our 5 year wedding anniversary, a trip to the pumpkin patch, and who knows what else we get into : )

A Fall Weekend

This past weekend we went to the Scarecrow Festival in Chappell Hill. As a child we have always gone to this festival so making this a tradition with Kendalyn was a no brainer.

They have food, arts & craft booths, and many family fun activities.

Daddy found the petting zoo. This was Kendalyn's 1st time in one.

Daddy and Kendalyn in their element of loving animals.....Mom, not so much. I am glad she has this in common with her dad.

The petting zoo had chickens, goats, little pigs, and a small horse. Since K has chickens at home she was more into what she doesn't have. And I think dad is secretly plotting to get a goat, LOL : )

Our own Snow White. When she was on the ground the animals would all frolic to her.

Our little cowgirl. It's in her blood. She loved it!
She has her own small pony, Chief, at the ranch. Now she is ready to ride.

We sent this picture to her Pawpaw and he loved it. He is waiting on her to come and ride with him.

Playing with the horse's hair.

This picture cracks me up...daddy had to swoop up Kendalyn from the big goat.

Hey that baby goat is small like me. I love the little pigs. So cute.

All in a day's work to feed the animals.

I enjoyed some shopping. We can't wait until the Spring when they have their annual Bluebonnet Festival....It's a family tradition : )

Family Fun!

A couple of weekends ago we went to Crockett to help daddy get everything ready for deer season. Kendalyn loved being outside and got horribly dirty. I guess it's expected when you are out in the woods.

This is Kendalyn with her 1st rainbow. We never got any rain but someone else did and we enjoyed seeing the beautiful rainbow.

Gig 'Em Aggies

We are the Aggies-The Aggies are we,

True to each other as Aggies can be

We got to FIGHT, boys,

We got to FIGHT!
We've got to fight for maroon and white.

After they've boosted all the rest,

They will come and join the best.

For we are the Aggies-The Aggies are we,
We're from Texas A-M-C.

T-E-X-A-S, A-G-G-I-E,

Fight! Fight! Fight-Fight-Fight!

Fight! Maroon! White-white-white!

A-G-G-I-E, Texas! Texas! A-M-C!

Gig 'Em Aggies! 1-2-3!

Farmers Fight! Farmers Fight!
Fight-Fight!
Farmers, Farmers, Fight!
(Lyrics to the Texas Aggie Fight Song)

WHOOP!!!

Miss Kendalyn is enjoying her first Aggie football season. She has her Aggie gear and sits attentively to watch the game. Except for the last two when we had other events going on and unfortunately the two losses. Maybe my girl is the Aggies lucky charm.

And in true Aggie fashion....

BTHO Tech!!!
Sorry Tech friends, we still love ya!!

Happy 6 months!!

Happy 6 months, Kendalyn!!!

September 6, 2011

I had to get this posted because tomorrow (Oct. 6, 2011) you will be 7 months old!

Dear Kendalyn,

Daddy and I are loving this age. You are exploring and enjoying the world around you. You amaze us everyday.

Firsts:
*You can sit on your own.
*You are crawling
* You are pulling up to a standing position.
*You transition from crawling to sitting and vice versa.

*You have 6 teeth.
*You eat everything we give you. You are a great eater. You love to eat papaya, mango, butternut squash, acorn squash, pears and pumpkin. But your favorites are still avocado, bananas, and baked apples.
*You have tried Baby Mum Mum's and Barley Teething Biscuits

*You say Dada ALL THE TIME!!!! Along with nana, yaya, and more. Dad and I swear you say something along the lines of "I Love You". I guess it's because we say it to you all the time.

*You know how to sign the word eat,

*You are learning to sign all done and milk. You smile so big when we do it.

* You were in your first fashion show.

*You went through your first Texas Wildfires!!

You wear 6-12 month clothes. It depends on the outfit.

At your 6 month appointment you weighed 17 lbs. Your height is 29 inches. You are a very tall little lady. You get that from the ladies on your daddy's side.

Your eyes are piercing blue. They always have been but we waited until 6 months to confirm it.

Your hair is strawberry blond. Women pay big bucks to get your color hair, lol

I know I am missing something but that's a quick overview of you. You literally change and grow everyday.

We are so proud that God picked us to be your parents. You are the apple of our eye. We love you to the moon and back.

All our love,

Mommy and Daddy

Loves her PawPaw

A Catch-Up Post

Over the summer there were a couple of surprise visits from PawPaw. He is usually busy with work or at the ranch. But when he told us he was in the area for work, etc. we made sure he stopped by.

This was late at night and Kendalyn woke up for a feeding. Daddy and PawPaw were happy to play with her.

PawPaw also took a trip to Fredericksburg and brought Miss K a little outfit.

Our little cowgirl

We love surprise visits from the grandparents. Miss K sure does get alot of lovin' from them.

First Fashion Show

At the beginning of September our home was put into danger because of wildfires in our area (that's a post all on it's own). A week after that our little angel was asked to be in a local fashion show. Proceeds from the event went to fire victims. Without hesitation, I said yes! It was a great way to be involved in something that effected our family and town.

Last Thursday was the event. Of course, we experienced a horrible thunderstorm just an hour before the event kicked off.

Kendalyn was excited but so unsure as to why Grammy and Grandpa were around on a weekday, LOL!

Our star of the show in an outfit from Mud*Pie. We love their stuff

The MC of the show said "Momma you better watch out with this little cutie". I agree!!! She loves the camera.

Our baby did so good.

Mom's Night Out!! By this time, Kendalyn was out of her outfit and asleep on Grammy's shoulder. She was tired, poor baby.

At the end of the month our town is holding a celebration for the firefighters. We can't wait to join in on the fun and thank the men and women for their efforts.
