Turmoil Tuesday

It's amazing how I always recite this poem in my mind when times get tough or uncertain.

I have come to that crossroad

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

I wouldn't think at this time in my life that change would be coming my (our) way. I have been praying to God to close some doors and open a few new ones.

Due to this and the horrible Texas freeze, we haven't done much to blog about. Stress and focus has been the higlight of the past few days. I did run across a few pictures from before the holidays.

We received a heavy cold rain back in December and Remington did NOT like it. He barked and whined and barked and whined and barked and whined...well, you get the point.

Being Creative

Somehow during my busy 2 week Christmas vacation I managed to get in some arts & crafts. Check it out and let me know what you think!!


This is our guest bathroom and yes it is black and silver. I love it. The glass vase had black and silver ornaments in it for Christmas. I decided to spray paint rocks silver and then glitter them. The black rocks can be found at any local craft store. I had the white candle.

This is in our dining room. The wooden sign says, "at home find comfort and rest".

The infamous kitchen vase that has had lemons and limes in it for the summer. For the fall, I put pumpkins in it. Now....well it is black beans, kidney beans, and white rice. I think it looks cute. Jason said I am wasting food. If we ever get hungry,..... : )

My final project. The leftover black rocks and maroon candles. This is on the mantle in the living room.

I have a few more ideas up my sleeve especially for the backyard and garden. I CANNOT wait until the spring!!!! 69 more days!!!!

Tomorrow is the BIG Night!!

Tomorrow is the last game of the college football series. This is such an exciting time.

I am very faithful to the Lone Star State. I love our history and everything about our great state. BUT....

My two favorite teams are Texas A&M and whoever BTHO texas. WHOOP!!!

I think tomorrow my Cowboy and I might have our first disagreement. I believe he will be cheering for our hometown boys.

Dirty Dog!

Is he not the CUTEST??!!!!

Last week my Cowboy was working on his truck and of course where daddy goes Remington goes too. He got so dirty.

I was trying to get a pic of his dirty body. The dark lines are really something black that he got off of the truck. He is such a stinker!

He is one loved puppy and we wouldn't have it any other way!!

Ringing in 2010!!

If New Year's Eve is any indication of how the year will be...WOW, is all I can say!! I apologize now for the lack of pictures or NONE from our festivities. I was pre-occupied with all the FUN!! You can relive a few 2009 pictures.
