Galveston Beach 2010

So we loaded up the truck and went to
Galveston Island

I knew my Cowboy hadn't gone fishing all summer so I thought it would be fun to go out there on Saturday.

For the past two summers we got a chartered boat off the island but I knew he
would enjoy some wade fishing this year. We found our favorite spot on San Luis Pass.

This was Remington's second time on the beach and of course, he L.O.V.E.D. the water.

This is the toll bridge that takes you from Galveston County to Brazoria County. Once we decided we were ready to go home we drove under the bridge....still on the sandy beaches....white, powdery beaches of Galveston Island (yes, we do have them) AND....we .....get.....STUCK.
I agree with Cowboy. I like getting stuck in mud instead of powdery sand. Thank God for the gentleman who had a tricked out jeep...maroon in color...and from A&M. The wonderful beach cop was so helpful too-NOT!!!
A perfect testament of Aggies helping Aggies.
