Halloween 2009

This past week has been a typical Halloween, C-R-A-Z-Y. While one holiday brought us a time of our world crashing to a complete halt; this holiday sings blessed praises. On Friday, Jason received a wonderful job opportunity. We feel like the weight of the world is off of our shoulders. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this time, that seemed like forever. We appreciate them.

Friday night our great neighbors came over for a few celebration toasts. It was so fun to see them and to have joy in our home again.

On Halloween, hubby and I decided to make pumpkin bread for my team at work. These ladies have been extremely kind during this time. I could not have asked for a better group of ladies to work with.

Check out these beauties...

Yep, you can see Remington hanging out on the kitchen floor, (between the barstool bars)

This was Rem's 1st Halloween. He did not understand why the doorbell kept ringing. He did slide past me one time and made his way to the end of the sidewalk. Daddy was not very happy.

We decided to sit outside and wait for the trick-or-treaters and found that Remington hates this holiday. He was so scared of these things (kids) walking up (dressed in costumes) and getting something (candy) from mommy. We decided to spend the rest of the night inside.

Remington's 1st Halloween!!
His costume...Marley
(everyone said that's who he looks like, He's just our Boo!!!)

On Sunday, we went to church and ran some much needed errands around town. The entire day was glorious, wonderful, and amazing.
Psalm 25:5
...guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
