Last weekend's project-Remington's Pawlace

The reason for our weekend madness. He is getting so big!!!

This is a highly crafted project. Hallelujah, It is DONE!! We will add to it like caps for the top and flowers around the outside.

The Pawlace is next to our shed. The pad is complete with a Remington house, pool, and bed-side food and an open bar.

He is not spoiled one bit. It's sad when you go to Academy for all of this toys!

The Garden Today

Thank God for the rain. Look how everything has grown!!!

My beautiful white flowered plant from dad. ( I forgot the name of it) and my sunflowers in the background.
The garden! We just picked 2 banana peppers out. Next week we should be able to pick from our choice of 6 different tomatoes. The squash should be next to come out. They have blooms already!

The box garden.

My herb garden.
I clipped chives and dill out already. I made an herb butter with them. I used my Olive Oil butter (in a green bowl). The butter is by Fleischmann's. I mixed the three together. They have been marinating together for a couple of days. I can't wait to try it out on a piece of toast!

Oh, Beautiful Garden

In an attempt to Go Green, we have created our Williamson garden. Jason and I both remember our childhood's spending our summers in the gardens with our grandparents. I remember going out at 8am with grandma to the garden to pick cucumbers or to snap the beans. Grandpa loved his garden and at the time I thought this was so silly, I should be at DisneyLand, but I think all of those memories are much more memorable. But don't tell my parents....Jason and I started a small garden last year with tomatoes and cucumbers but with not much success. We also had thyme, oregano, and basil planted. We did so well with it, I wanted to package it up and give it to family for Christmas. When we found our house and fell in love with the inside we also fell in love with the outside and the overgrown garden. To most people it would be a disaster but for Jason and I it was a diamond in the rough. We knew that the couple who had the house before put in great soil andplants grew there before. We knew we would be guaranteed crops.

We started seeding in February and moved everything to the garden in late March.

The garden contains onions, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, peppers, bean, peas, potatoes, beets, and who knows what else. The fencing is what was there when we bought the house. We are researching the best way to make it up to the Williamson standards.

We ran out of room so we created an above ground garden box. Our soil (iron ore) is terrible is we didn't want to mess with it.

This was the children's sand box but I moved in and made it my herb garden. We have flowers, Aggie Bonnets, basil, oregano, parsley, thyme, mint, lavender, dill, and chives.

The herb garden sits right outside the kitchen doors. A great Saturday morning sight.

Just for Terrie

My friend Terrie told me I was crazy to blog about our puppy, Remington. However, many people blog on much more "interesting" things than I do. (like babies). I am also getting my Masters in Educational Administration and will be done in JUNE!!! So Mrs. Nosey if you must know....we will be TTC after June 7th. Not everyone tries after the vows are read, like you!! hehehe. I love you! For your viewing pleasure, here are some random pictures of us through the years as we await the (obviously) much anticipated Baby Williamson.....to be continued.....

Our 1st Christmas in our new house with our family. This is a great pic of us with my mom and dad. Aren't they cute?
Jason and I at an Aggie game. He has become an Aggie by marriage. I don't think he really had a choice. WHOOP!!! Look how close we were to the field!

This is a shark we caught this past summer in Galveston. We picked up fishing...maybe I might blog about that...

Us at the Rodeo...YEE HAW!!! We have fancy duds on.

Could you imagine...us at a winery...Of course, where else?! Maybe I'll blog about my favorite vineyards???!!!!

I have an appointment next Friday...what will I do next?? Hey, I blogged about something else. Hair...Here's to you, Terrie, love ya girl!!

Catch Up

It's been almost a week since my last post, man time flies. We have been busy with life in general. We had a night out on Friday for dinner and dancing for our friend's birthday. Of course, we got to bed early in the morning and had to get up even earlier Saturday morning when Mr. Remington decided to scratch at our door. Did we forget to put our son in his bed???!!!! No, Remington jumped over his pen. Which brings us to this weekend where we thought we were going to relax but instead we had to go Saturday morning to McCoy's Lumberyard and get material for Remington's outside "Paw"-lace. Jay and I are extremely tired and to make things even worse I have been sick. Although I did tell Jay last night that this was the best $500 we spent in a long time. Now I can finally have my garage back and I don't have to worry if Remi will be at the edge of the garage wagging his tail when I open it up after a day at work. I will post pics soon of our latest Williamson project. My wonderful Cowboy left the camera cord at work.

Down on the Williamson Farm

Remi wants beer!!!! Look at that sad face.

Remington lays on Elli!!! We did get him to train him to be a hunting dog...Mistake?? Nah.

Elli...our chicken. We have 3!!!!!

Pretty bird!!!

Elli's favorite passtime...Playing in the burn pile.

To say we have a farm is an understatement....My wonderful Cowboy loves the outdoors and loves animals. Unfortunately, the HOA does not allow horses on an acre land, (Duh). So instead my Cowboy bought CHICKENS!!!! To make matters even worse, I open my big mouth to my 1st graders and one little boy brought me....can you guess...A CHICKEN!!!! This is the day that Remington met Elli. Elli is named after my school. YEE HAW!!!!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

It has been raining for 2 days! Daddy and I have been so worried about Remington being home alone all day. He is in the garage, in his "Remington" kennel, and has his octagon cage. The best pup life. Everyone at work assures us that he is OK. We have wonderful retired neighbors who came by last night and asked if Remy went to school with mommy. When we said no, she was surprised because Remington was not barking or crying during the storm. What a good boy!!!
