Wild Weekend!!

What a weekend!!! We haven't had such a busy weekend in a long time. I am ready for another weekend to relax but we did have some good times with family and friends.

Sorry for the lack of pics in this post as I have been a bit under the weather and if I don't do it, it doesn't get done....HA!

Friday, we attended Lauren's graduation party from SHSU. Lauren is a good friend and our neighbor. She and her husband Billy are in a previous post....the mini of Jason and I.

Saturday, we traveled to the Play Pen Ranch to celebrate PawPaw's 60th birthday. We had a great time seeing lots of extended family from Jason's side and our ranch family. Ms. Brenda, Pawpaw's friend, really out did herself. There was tons of food and a creative Cowboy cake, yum! I must say a good time was had by all. Oh and the best part was watching hubby fly off of a horse. Well, it wasn't that funny at first but when he jumped right up off the ground I knew he was OK (until the next day). Don't feel to bad for him, he was "horsin' around" PPR style.

Happy 60th Birthday!!!

Sunday, we actually slept in instead of attending church. We didn't get home until 2am from the PPR and I forgot to set the alarm. We did enjoy it though. That afternoon we went to the Farmers Market near downtown Houston. I love going to the Farmers Market. There is nothing like getting fresh veggies and fruit for a great price. Our garden has hit the big heat wave and is having a hard time producing as much as we would like to eat it.

YUM!!!!

Our baby boy turned 6 months old on Sunday as well. I will have to get updated pictures of Mr. Remington.
Happy 6 month birthday Remington!!!

On Friday I started back to work. I sure am going to miss hubby when I am gone but I know he is taking care of the homefront. Please continue to pray that he finds something soon. We appreciate it.

Aggie Gals Plus 3

Today I drove up to Home Sweet College Station to visit the girls. This was a special trip because I got to see the twins. It was even extra special because it was their 4 week birthday. Shayanne brought over the old skool fav, Wings N More. YUM!!

When I got to Melissa's I got to feed Natalie. She is so calm and quiet. Meagan is so dramatic.

Meagan and I. You can tell she is squirming

Shayanne and Natalie

I know Melissa wanted a much needed break from the girls to relax but Shaylee came to play. Can a baby be going through their terrible 2's at 15 months?? YES, and her name is Miss Shaylee !!

Man, time sure does change. It was crazy wonderful madness hanging out with the girls. But adding a Williamson to the bunch might be T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Girls, get ready!!! And my luck I will probably have the BOY!!!
AND who can't go to Aggieland without stopping at Aggieland Outfitters for some Aggie memoribila, WHOOP!!!!! We are so ready for football season.

Class of 2009

On Saturday I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Master's degree in Educational Administration. In other words, now I can be a principal. The commencements were at 10 am so we had to get there early. My family came and hubby took some great pictures. Afterwards, we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse, yum!

A thank you goes out to my family for their continued love and support.
I could not have done it without them.
A special thank you goes to my hubby for putting up
with me for the past year and a half while
I made it through this once in a lifetime accomplishment.
Dreams really do come true.
Love,
Courtney, M.Ed.

I was suprised to see one of my students from two years ago. This little girl has such a sweet heart and is so intelligent. She is in LOVE with Mr. Williamson. They are like two peas in a pod. The family congratulated me and were so happy for my achievement. Here is a picture of Madison and I. I know in a few years I will see her graduate from MHS and I know I will be in the front row with her mommy.

The hungry family...We waited a long time for our table but it was SSSOOOO worth it. YUMMY FOOD!!!

We ate ssssooooo much food. Then they bring out a graduation cake from mom and dad.

Aaron being silly OR normal, HA!

Joining in the fun!!!

Finally home after a long day.
I LOVE HIM!!!

I could not have done it without him!
I'm so proud to be his!!

Kisses for the graduate!!

Our wonderful neighbors brought this flower arrangement for me. They are the best neighbors ever. I never cared for orange roses but how beautiful is this! I might consider orange a bit more but not burnt orange, ugh!

Thank you for bearing with me through this rather lengthy post. It was a great day and another wonderful memory.

Things have been C-R-A-Z-Y

I cannot believe that August is already here. July flew by with many ups and downs. Here is a quick update on our lives.

Last Wednesday-The posting of an AP and Principal job in my district. I have been helping Jason find a job and now I have to get my resume updated. YEAH!

Last Friday-The resignation of my AP and the chance for me to interview

Monday-Wednesday-Working on preparing for my interview and Jason is still applying for jobs

Thursday-The interview....it went well but unfortunately they picked someone else. I am happy for her and glad I got the experience.

Friday (Today)-Jason and I went to get my classroom together. We are almost done. Hubby is AWESOME!!!

Tomorrow-GRADUATION DAY!!!!!! Our immediate family of 20!!!!! is coming to celebrate this wonderful occasion. My poor baby has so much to do tomorrow during graduation. He has to call the restaurant an hour before we get there to make sure our area is reserved. I sure hope he remembers AND he has to take many pics.

There are many things in the workings for next week but I am not going to post them yet....Stay Tuned.
