Easter 2013

We are truly blessed this Easter weekend and thankful we can celebrate what Jesus did for us.  

We kept the season of Easter with Jesus on our minds and in our hearts. 

We saw how Kendalyn enjoyed all the things we taught her about this special time of year.

Of course, we had goodies from the grandparents,

 

special gifts from mom and dad, and a super cool egg hunt from the Easter Bunny.

But we also enjoyed the Resurrection Egg Story and reading Bible stories together as a family.

He is not here;

he has risen,

just as he said.

We visited the Easter Bunny and had fun with our first hunt of the year at school!!

Play day at Maw and Papa's

Last Saturday we visited my parents. Kendalyn enjoyed more birthday gifts from family, cooking with Maw and playing with papa. She had a great time.

St. Patrick's Day

Since St. Patty's Day was on Sunday we pulled our green out for Monday. Surprisingly K's shirt from last year fit, wahoo!!

The Conclusion of Spring Break 2013

Our Spring Break ended just has wonderful as it began. Daddy spent a few days with us. We spent them playing at home and watching our girl enjoy the rodeo on TV. All of this fun makes us want summertime to get here faster!!

Spring Break-Part 3

Miss K and I continued our Spring Break adventures and went to the town library and park for the day on Wednesday.

Our library was having story hour. I did realize that although K loves books, we were much louder than what the older generation thought we should be....this made me very nervous. The library even had a fire truck which brought K's excitement level even higher. Her school has had many community helpers visiting and the fire dept. is above and beyond her favorite to see. After awhile I was done with telling her to ssshhhh and stay quiet we are in the library so I decided to take her to the park.

It must have been Park Day because every mommy and child was there, lol! We played and played and played until it was lunch time. On days that I am off I never forget the important things....lunchtime and nap time, haha!!

Overall, we had another great day together!

Spring Break-Part 2

After a fun Monday I decided we'd continue our adventures and go to the Children's Museum with our friends.

The girls had a blast, a few meltdowns (that was my child), enjoyed lunch and some shopping. We came home and had a good nap!!

I think it was a successful day for all!!
