A Playdate to the Mall

There is not much you can do with a 4/5 month old in this Texas heat. Triple digits for days is too much. But one day we decided to venture out with some friends for a trip to the mall.


Miss Kendalyn was having a great time. We walked the mall, did some shopping, ate at Chick-fil-a, spilled a drink on mommy....you know fun stuff.

We even spiced it up a bit and went on a carousel ride. It was a Mommy and Kendalyn first.

Going round and round. I could tell at this point she was getting to her limit.

And then she was done.

Mommy and Kendalyn survived a trip to the mall!! Thanks "M" and "O" family for a great time! I can't wait until we have more happy and fun times shopping together.

Kendalyn,

You are 5 months old. My goodness the times with you are getting more exciting each day. You are growing into such a big girl. Your daddy and I are so proud of you.

Firsts
You cut your first tooth!! Bottom left
You roll over all the time.
You are starting to get into crawling position but you don't go anywhere : )
You rode your first carousel ride. (pics to come)

Fun tidbits
You love to swim. We go to the pool every weekend and you have such a blast.
You have enjoyed playdates and meeting new friends.
You have started a new "trick" of coughing like you are choking. It's so funny but we don't want it to become a habit.
You tell me when you are ready to eat by opening and closing your mouth. Which leads to....
You are a very scheduled little girl. Not on our account. You have your schedule and always have. If we get away from the schedule you definitely let us know ; )
