To the Stock Show, we go!

Yesterday we went to the local high school FFA show. The kids were being judged on their animals so they could go to the Houston Livestock show in a couple of weeks! Kendalyn had a great time seeing the animals but was a bit apprehensive when the steer was close by. The kids were so nice and polite to Kendalyn. I think we will have a Future Farmer of America on day : ))

We did see him.....

I somehow missed posting about meeting Santa Claus this past year.  It is the most precious story.

We were out doing some major Christmas shopping at the mall.  I told my Cowboy that maybe we can quickly spy on Jolly Ole St. Nicholas to see how Kendalyn would do.

She went up to the fence around Santa's area and saw him talking to a boy about 8 years old.  The boy was sitting next to Santa and reading every word of his letter.  Santa would look up and smile at Kendalyn.  We stood there for a bit and I kept saying Santa is so sweet.  Cowboy looked at me and said I can't take this and carried Kendalyn through the line to see Santa Claus.

Of course, I said she isn't dressed for a picture with Santa but Cowboy said that we can't miss this opportunity.  Santa Claus was so wonderful, absolutely the sweetest.  I feel in love with Santa and was so   ready to go and sit on his lap myself.

Look at this picture!!!

Sorry for whatever this picture is doing but y'all isn't it the sweetest picture ever.  After we took the picture I realized it's not about her outfit, it's about the truly amazing experience she had.  I also convinced myself that the outfit was perfect for Kendalyn because she was absolutely in LOVE with Minnie Mouse this year.

We can't wait to see Santa again this year

Snow Painting

Today we snow painted. It's 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1 cup of water. Kendalyn loved the texture and it was so fun. Even better for mom.... Non toxic

New Year Playdates

After the New Year's festivities Kendalyn and I spent the last few days of our vacation visiting friends.  You saw one of our trips was to Aggieland in my last post.

During one of our playdates we saw Dyllan and her mommy.  K and D are almost 2 year olds and getting a clear picture was IMPOSSIBLE.  So sorry for the blurriness.

They had a great time playing

Sweet Dyllan

My girl

We also had a visit from Mrs. K and Addie.  They haven't seen Kendalyn in quite a long time so they were happy to see their baby.  But no babies here just a busy girl.

And yes, in these pictures K is sporting a Valentine bow and a mismatch yellow bow with her Aggie jersey.  This momma is ready for the Springtime and Miss K is lovin' yellow bows lately.  In this family we are ready to skip the winter time....Spring it is!!  : )

A trip to Aggieland

Kendalyn and I made our trip to College Station over the holidays. We had a great time seeing friends and shopping. I especially loved how my partner would say Gig 'Em Aggies or Go Go Football as we were driving around. Love her.
