Aggie Gals Plus 5!!

Circa 2002, we were three college girls at Texas A&M going to school and trying to get through finals, dating, break-ups, Dr. Viruru (an awesome professor we each had a couple of times), Saturday game days, and the list goes on and on.  Graduation hit and we went our separate ways but always managed to stay in touch.

One left to live out of state, one got married, and the other ...continued her college life, HAHA!!!  I can say that...it was ME   ; )
We met back up in 2007 and began a tradition of seeing each other at Christmas and during the summer.

Three Gals
Sidenote:  Why am I always in the middle??!!!  Must be because these two always have to bring me back down to Earth, HA!!

Plus 5!!!

Wow, things change  : )

Kendalyn and I took a trip to Aggieland.  It was a chance to get me down to my roots.  Oh those gals do it the best.  Kendalyn got a short tour of where mommy lived.  We drove in during naptime and out during naptime so she didn't get the campus tour  ; )

These girls played hard.
 Kendalyn and Shaylee

Shaylee read to all the kids

Natalie in the dress up house.  This is the best toy ever for those times children want to write on the wall.  Can't wait to get one for Miss K

It's never too early to learn your shapes.  I hope Kendalyn was a good student  : )

And then...the kids get into MAKE-UP

 Shaylee and Meagan
I think we have a few more lessons to go on Make-Up 101

 Feeding time, HA!!

This picture of Meagan reminds me of the closing of Hee Haw (maybe) where they come out of the windows to tell jokes and say good-bye  (And I only saw Hee Haw in syndication)

Time for a nap.
Shelbee, Shaylee, Kendalyn, Meagan and Natalie

I can't wait to see the girls again.  We always have a great time.  I think we might take a trip this spring to give Kendalyn the tour of campus.

So there you have it...another first-Kendalyn's First trip to Aggieland

Christmas 2011-Part 3

Christmas morning was beyond a blessing.  Little Miss K oooooed and ahhhhed over everything she saw.

She enjoyed seeing her toys.

She loved playing with everything.

Sweet baby taking care of her sweet baby.  The stroller helps her to learn how to walk.  She loves it and is always on the go but she does not like getting stuck against furniture or having anything in her way, HA!!

She loved opening her presents.

Our First Christmas as a family of 3!

And then we spent the afternoon snuggling our girl.  Who unfortunately started to run a fever.
We were THOSE parents calling the doctor on Christmas evening.  Her fever broke that morning.  Daddy and I enjoyed the cuddles....selfishly.

We loved our first Christmas together.  We can't wait to see what the year holds.

Christmas 2011-Part 2

On Christmas Eve we went to my parent's house.  We enjoyed another great time with family.

I thought it was so cute that my parent's got Miss K her own Christmas tree.  My dad said that next year she will help them decorate it.

Our girl checking out all of the decorations.  I need to get a picture of her in all of her Christmas outfits.  She looked so adorable during the month of December.

Kendalyn with Great Grandma

Dancing with Grandpa or Papa like Kendalyn is calling him.  Adorable.

We enjoyed lots of food and fun.

Fun Cousins

Playing with the Soon-to-be Married Couple  : )

My Cowboy with Grandma

I'll spare you the 200 pictures of everyone opening gifts and show a few of Kendalyn.
She is starting to figure out how to open gifts.  Perfect for her 1st birthday coming up...tear.

Kendalyn received fun toys and clothes.

But the small piece of wrapping paper and tissue paper is so fun!

Kendalyn's First Cabbage Patch Kid.  I can't believe my baby will play with the same toy that I loved as a kid.  Of course, I was in the time when you stood in line to get a C.P. Kid doll because it was the coolest thing ever. HA!!

 Living room full of fun

Kendalyn spent time with Papa playing

Clapping and showing her "Stinker Face"  I'm so amazed at how she is recognizing things that we tell her...Where is this?...Show us that...Oh She is a growing girl.

We had a great time with family but My Cowboy and I couldn't wait to get home to get ready for Santa!!  : )   Stay tuned.

Christmas 2011-Part 1

Wow, what a Christmas!!  We knew this was going to be a great Christmas with Miss Kendalyn and it certainly was.  Her excitement was unbelievable.  When she says, Ho Ho Ho or wakes up and says "Elf" (Kendalyn received an Elf on the Shelf for St. Nicholas Day-a post to come)  It all just makes your heart melt.

We are truly blessed in many ways this holiday season.  And never forgetting the true meaning of CHRISTmas.

We began our celebration on December 23rd with My Cowboy's family.
Kendalyn received lots of love from Pawpaw.

Even Cousin Allen enjoyed the fun with Kendalyn.

Kendalyn said Ooooooo throughout the holiday season.  She said Ooooo on her new horse.

She said Ooooooo when she saw Pawpaw's hoot owl for the barn.

None of the gifts would have been opened if it wasn't for our very own toymaker.  Allen put all of Kendalyn's toys together for her.  I guess that's what happens when you're the oldest cousin.  You spend your Christmas putting all the toys together for the others.  If you recall Kendalyn is the 10th grandchild on Cowboy's side.

But when the toymaker is busy making toys....playing in a box will do.... especially when momma isn't looking.

Kendalyn received a kitchen.  She was very excited.

She did get the hang of opening up gifts.

She received some sharp cowgirl duds.

And daddy even had to show off his new King of the Kitchen apron.

Kendalyn got a new baby.  She loves her babies.

But a stinky cowboy hat is always fun.  Love her face.

 Silly cousins.

 And happy siblings.

Oh and by the way.....I was there too  : )
Why does the person behind the camera never get in any of the pictures?  HA!!!  I saw where someone put the self timer on the camera to take pictures every few minutes.  Guess who is doing that next year??!!!  What a great idea!

Stay tuned for Christmas 2011-Part 2 and Part 3...whew!!!  Kendalyn and I have a very special trip planned this week to Aggieland....momma is excited.
