The Month of Weddings

October should be known as the month of LOVE. I have many family members with wedding anniversaries in October. We wish them all many more years of happiness. Most importantly, this is our anniversary month as well as my parents.

Happy Anniversary
Mom & Dad!!
One Hot Couple at Our Wedding almost 3 years ago.

So in love....

Jason and I tried to have our wedding on October 13th like my parents but it conflicted with county fair schedules and church activities. It's sad when the day of your wedding revolves around the stock show, HA!! Now we are excited to have 2 special anniversaries weeks apart since ours is in less than 10 days!!!

We love you, Mom and Dad. Enjoy your special day!!

Show Us Your Life-Tailgates and Favorite Teams

I love reading the "Show Us Your Life" topics on Kelly's Korner but have never participated. Since football season is upon us and I have been blogging about my favorite team, I thought I would join in.

It's no secret I am a
Texas A&M Aggie,
Class of 2002! WHOOP!!!

I am a first generation Aggie out of my family. College was always stressed growing up but never a distinct college. I attended a junior college near my hometown. I was there on a scholarship so I had to live in the dorms. The girls always talked about where they were going next. My roommate applied for A&M so I thought...why not try too. In 1998, during the Texas A&M vs. Texas game I received my acceptance letter. On cloud 9, I returned to campus to find out my roommate did not get accepted. Man, did that make for a long end of the semester.

Going to A&M was amazing. I had some of my higest highs and lowest lows in Aggieland and it is something I will never forget. Unfortunately, I met my Cowboy after I graduated. We always think about what it would have been like if we went to school together at A&M. Fortunately, my Cowboy is now an Aggie by marriage, HA!!!

The pictures are from 2007 which was the last time we attended a game. Last year we bought a house so tickets weren't even discussed.

Blonde Moment: The pictures are uploaded backwards, oh well, you get the idea.

Hubby and I sportin' our Aggie attire. (And yes I went darker after we got married.)

Takin' It Back Old School

Check out the new look. I have turned back the hands of time to 2003!!! Six years ago on Thanksgiving Day I met the man of my dreams. Two years later on Thanksgiving Day, he proposed. On October 21, 2006 I married him!!! I always hated Halloween and the season of fall but my Cowboy has made me LOVE this time of year. So join us during this glorious time of year as we step back in time.

Aggie Game

I don't understand why one moment mommy is screaming at the top of her lungs in happiness and the next she is mad. I don't think my Aggies did very well Saturday night. I sure hope it turns out better this weekend. It's just too disappointing for words.
Gotta stand by my Aggies, Gig 'Em Ags!

I am so stinkin' excited to FINALLY see the Ags on TV tonight. I follow many wonderful ladies who are Arkansas fans/alum so it's hard for me to do this since I do like fair competitions but
