Father's Day Weekend

WOW!!! We need another weekend to recoup from this past weekend. We have returned from our "World Travels" (6 hours of drive time) of seeing our dads. We can't wait for the day that they come here!!

Friday- My cousin Jenni and I went to see our "cousin" Tashya and her 3 month old little girl, Brooklyn. We enjoyed playing catch up, lunch and shopping.

Firday evening-I went to a jewelry party while Jason and Remington "played". I can't wait until my bracelet comes in!!

Saturday-Jason and I traveled to Sealy to see mom, dad, and Cole. The kids decided to surprise my dad by fixing his irrigation system in the yard as his Father's Day present. Well, the boys did. Mom and I drank margaritas before having fajitas for dad's day. We also went to see my grandma. She enjoys our stories about the Williamson farm. (HA!)

Sunday-Jason and I woke up E---A---R---L---Y to travel about 2 hours to see Jason's dad for Father's Day. He invited us to his church and then we had lunch afterwards. We loved seeing the family. What fun!!

We finally got back to the farm Sunday evening. Remington was SO happy to see us and we were happy to see him. Jason decided to take him to the pond while I "tried" to finish up some school things, ugh. (wishful thinking)

What a great family fun-filled weekend. We can't wait to relax this coming weekend!!! HA!

Unfortunately, it was a pictureless weekend. However, I do have some pictures of Jason's "kids" HA!!!

**Update: The Williamson farm is still growing! We picked 11 tomatoes on Saturday and we have so many more to come. We even planted more veggies last weekend and they are growing...about 2 inches tall now!!

On a sad note...

About two weeks ago I said that Remington has a new chicken sister named Pepper. Well, I have to report today that Pepper is missing. We saw her with the 3 Stooges (Elli, Miss Petti, and the Rooster) all weekend. Last night I wanted to get a picture of her with my new camera and I couldn't find her. We have reason to believe that a hawk or other creature took her out of her loving home sometime Sunday night.

Pepper, you are loved and missed. We enjoyed having you on the Williamson farm.

Sunday FunDay

After the gun range trip, Jason and I took Remington to the park for some swimming fun. Here is of a video of his fetching skills.

What a good job, Remington!!! And me for recording this video, HA!

Trip to the Gun Range

On Sunday we drove out to the outdoor gun range on 290. We heard that many people take their puppies there to hear the gun shots and to evaluate how they would react in the hunting field. Jason's biggest fear was seeing that Remington was gun shy.

At first he was a little skidish and busy looking for the shots being fired.

Remington and Jason got a bit closer just to check it out.

Here they are hanging out by the shooting area.

Is he gun shy or not?????????????

NO!!!!! It didn't even bother him after awhile!!!!!

Isn't he so cute relaxing under the trees and listening to the gunshots??!!!!!!

Slip N Slide

As I am still learning my new camera I was able to capture some great action shots of the kiddos playing on the slip n slide at Alona's party.
Check it out...

Lindsey's slide. Check out the bottom right corner. What a splash!

Love this one of Gavin!
