Christmas 2011-Part 2

On Christmas Eve we went to my parent's house.  We enjoyed another great time with family.

I thought it was so cute that my parent's got Miss K her own Christmas tree.  My dad said that next year she will help them decorate it.

Our girl checking out all of the decorations.  I need to get a picture of her in all of her Christmas outfits.  She looked so adorable during the month of December.

Kendalyn with Great Grandma

Dancing with Grandpa or Papa like Kendalyn is calling him.  Adorable.

We enjoyed lots of food and fun.

Fun Cousins

Playing with the Soon-to-be Married Couple  : )

My Cowboy with Grandma

I'll spare you the 200 pictures of everyone opening gifts and show a few of Kendalyn.
She is starting to figure out how to open gifts.  Perfect for her 1st birthday coming up...tear.

Kendalyn received fun toys and clothes.

But the small piece of wrapping paper and tissue paper is so fun!

Kendalyn's First Cabbage Patch Kid.  I can't believe my baby will play with the same toy that I loved as a kid.  Of course, I was in the time when you stood in line to get a C.P. Kid doll because it was the coolest thing ever. HA!!

 Living room full of fun

Kendalyn spent time with Papa playing

Clapping and showing her "Stinker Face"  I'm so amazed at how she is recognizing things that we tell her...Where is this?...Show us that...Oh She is a growing girl.

We had a great time with family but My Cowboy and I couldn't wait to get home to get ready for Santa!!  : )   Stay tuned.

Christmas 2011-Part 1

Wow, what a Christmas!!  We knew this was going to be a great Christmas with Miss Kendalyn and it certainly was.  Her excitement was unbelievable.  When she says, Ho Ho Ho or wakes up and says "Elf" (Kendalyn received an Elf on the Shelf for St. Nicholas Day-a post to come)  It all just makes your heart melt.

We are truly blessed in many ways this holiday season.  And never forgetting the true meaning of CHRISTmas.

We began our celebration on December 23rd with My Cowboy's family.
Kendalyn received lots of love from Pawpaw.

Even Cousin Allen enjoyed the fun with Kendalyn.

Kendalyn said Ooooooo throughout the holiday season.  She said Ooooo on her new horse.

She said Ooooooo when she saw Pawpaw's hoot owl for the barn.

None of the gifts would have been opened if it wasn't for our very own toymaker.  Allen put all of Kendalyn's toys together for her.  I guess that's what happens when you're the oldest cousin.  You spend your Christmas putting all the toys together for the others.  If you recall Kendalyn is the 10th grandchild on Cowboy's side.

But when the toymaker is busy making toys....playing in a box will do.... especially when momma isn't looking.

Kendalyn received a kitchen.  She was very excited.

She did get the hang of opening up gifts.

She received some sharp cowgirl duds.

And daddy even had to show off his new King of the Kitchen apron.

Kendalyn got a new baby.  She loves her babies.

But a stinky cowboy hat is always fun.  Love her face.

 Silly cousins.

 And happy siblings.

Oh and by the way.....I was there too  : )
Why does the person behind the camera never get in any of the pictures?  HA!!!  I saw where someone put the self timer on the camera to take pictures every few minutes.  Guess who is doing that next year??!!!  What a great idea!

Stay tuned for Christmas 2011-Part 2 and Part 3...whew!!!  Kendalyn and I have a very special trip planned this week to Aggieland....momma is excited.

Meeting Santa

Our baby girl did wonderful meeting Santa Claus.  She was unsure of him but did not cry.  Wahoo!!  Santa was so nice and kind.  I was even thinking of sitting on his lap and telling him what I wanted for Christmas, HA!!

Kendalyn and Santa.
 Love that look.

But I absolutely love this picture....
So precious.  I think it would look good black/white.

After meeting Mr. C, when you ask Kendalyn, "What does Santa say?"  She says, "Ho Ho Ho".  What a smart girl  : )
